Convert MBR2GPT Without Data Loss Proven Method Free
Gptgen is a tool to non-destructively convert hard disks partitioned in the common, “MSDOS-style” MBR scheme (including extended partitions) to use a GUID partition table (GPT). Convert MBR2GPT without data loss proven method free.
Environment and Conditions
- Windows 7 or above Operating system in my case i used Windows Server 2012
- Partition must be basic disk not dynamic (Did not verified)

Step 1: Open a command prompt with run as administrator and type diskpart.
Step 2: Once in diskpart, type list disk. Locate the number of the drive that you wish to convert. For me, the drive was 2, so I will use that as the example. Type exit to exit out of diskpart.
Step 3: Download and unpack gptgen. Open a command prompt and use the cd command to change into the gptgen folder.
In my case i have copied the gptgen to User Home path

Step 4: Once in the gptgen folder you extracted, type the command
gptgen.exe -w \\.\\physicaldrive2 (substituting physical drive number for the 2 shown in the example).
It may take little time based on disk size
